Accountability, Authenticity, & Acceptance (Self)
I have been a therapist over a decade and I also have my PhD in higher educational leadership and research. I started my private practice after years working within higher education and working within community agencies once I saw a need not being met with women who looked like me.
I help African American female entrepreneurs and C-Suite Executives evolve into the person they believe isn't possible or truly believe can not exist based on her current state in life. I'm also here to inform her that success doesn't make you happy, neither does communicating passively aggressively, nor living up to a life plan that no longer fulfills her. So if you have goals in life, GREAT! But let's make sure they make sense towards the life you want to live going forward. Let's create a plan and get clear. Because anxiety provoking, ruminating thoughts aren't working. Clarity brings confidence.
And most importantly, can we identify who you are authentically so that you aren't living up to the expectations of those around you. You can have different sides of who you are and that's ok. Change is okay. Because you can't say you're growing without changing. And I get it, it can be hard to move into the unknown but you must know that you're smart enough and resourceful enough to learn from any "L"esson and bounce back like you've always done. But the good thing about this time around in life you no longer have to live in survival or hustle mode because let's be honest, it's EXHAUSTING. So stop self-sabotaging, self-gaslighting, self-invalidating, and finally choose you and what makes you happy. Let's talk about. Contact me today!
